The Rotary Club of Accra-North is proud to be part of this network, committed to service above self. The Rotary Club of Accra North (RCAN) is the 3rd oldest service club in Ghana. Chartered in 1987, the RCAN is comprised of approximately 33 of Accra’s business and community leaders.

Kwame is a Serial Tech Entrepreneur with a focus on upskilling and reskilling African Tech talents to take advantage of Global remote tech opportunities.

He is the Co-Founder & Country Director of GetINNOtized & Azubi Africa which serves as a conduit between academia and the job market by upskilling young talents and making them industry-ready for cloud engineering and data science roles.

A passionate and committed member of the rotary club of Accra-North, Rotarian Kwame is the president of the club for the 2024 – 2025 Rotary year. He believes rotary should take advantage of what modern ICT and AI to expand the frontiers of Rotary.

The late Rotarian Kwabena Ohene Manu was the club’s charter president when the club was chartered in 1987 and reminded so until his untimely demise in 2023.

An accomplished pharmacist, He was the founder and CEO of Oyster Chemist Limited, a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry.

As an active member of the club, he led the club to become a very dynamic and vibrant rotary club. He was a past assistant governor(PAG) and also served for a long time as a member of the National Polio Eradication Committee.

He was a walking ensyclopedia  of rotary with such rich knowledge and had interesting perspectives on various issues concerning rotary.

Meet Nana Kwadwo Agyei Duku , the celebrated and esteemed elder statesman of the Rotary Club of Accra-North. He holds the distinguished title of the club’s oldest and longest-standing member, a living repository of the club’s rich history and traditions

Mr. Edward Addo is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Winmat Publishers Limited, a reputable educational textbook company based in Ghana and Sierra Leone. 

Outside business, he is a patron of the Ghana Association of Science Teachers and a former trustee of the Ghana Physicians and Surgeons Endowment Fund and a member of the President’s National Planning Committee for the establishment of 2 Universities of Health and Allied Sciences and Energy and Natural Resources in Ho and Sunyani respectively. 

A golfer and philanthropist, rotarian Ed Addo is a charter member of the rotary club of  Accra-North and the first major donor of the club.

Rotarian Rita Donkubari was the President of the Rotary Club of Accra North for the 2022 – 2023 Rotary Year. She crowned her presidency by fulfilling her promise of becoming the latest Major Donor of the club. She has keen interest in service projects and usually participates in the club’s service activities
